Bhatti inaugurates ₹376 crore power substations in Gadwal

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka inaugurated power substations worth ₹376.25 crore in Jogulamba Gadwal district on Tuesday. He also laid the foundation stone for a new substation at Erravalli with an investment of ₹155 crore.

Bhatti Vikramarka said the State Government was constructing substations across Telangana. He said the initiative would ensure quality and uninterrupted power supply.

Power substations to strengthen electricity supply

The Deputy Chief Minister inaugurated 33/11 KV substations at Julekal, Pacharla, Pullur and Medikonda in Alampur constituency. Excise, Tourism, Culture and Archaeology Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Sports Minister Vakiti Srihari joined him.

Further, Bhatti Vikramarka laid the foundation stone for a 220/132/33 KV substation at Erravalli. The project will cost ₹155 crore. He also distributed transformers to farmers during the event.

District Collector Rizwan Basha Shaik, Superintendent of Police Srinivasa Rao and public representatives welcomed the Deputy Chief Minister at Shantinagar in Waddepalli mandal. He later travelled by road to Julekal for the programme.

MP Mallu Ravi, Alampur MLA Vijayudu, Achampet MLA Chikkudu Vamsi Krishna, Shadnagar MLA Shankar and Jadcherla MLA Anirudh Reddy attended the event. Telangana TRANSCO CMD Krishna Bhaskar, TGSPDCL CMD Jitesh V. Patil and other public representatives and officials also participated.
