Hyderabad: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu launched Alampur power infrastructure works worth approximately ₹376.25 crore in Jogulamba Gadwal district, saying the projects are aimed at improving the quality and reliability of electricity supply for farmers and household consumers.
As part of the programme, foundation stones were laid for a 220/132/33 kV substation at Erravalli at a cost of ₹155 crore and a 132/33 kV substation at Rayapuram in Gattu Mandal at a cost of ₹48 crore.
The Deputy Chief Minister also inaugurated newly constructed 33/11 kV substations at Julakal, Paccharla, Medikonda, Aragidda, Thummalacheruvu, Kurthiravallacheruvu, Somapuram, Peddapadu and Uligepalli villages, located within Vaddepalli, Rajoli, Ijja and Maldakal mandals. During the visit, transformers were distributed to farmers to strengthen agricultural power supply.
Alampur power infrastructure expanded with new substations
Following the inauguration, Bhatti Vikramarka interacted with local residents to gather feedback and hear their concerns. He said the state government remained committed to ensuring uninterrupted and quality electricity for agriculture, industries and domestic consumers while continuing to strengthen the power sector.
Ministers Jupalli Krishna Rao and Vakiti Srihari, MP Mallu Ravi, local legislators, public representatives and senior officials of the Electricity Department participated in the programmes.
