Hyderabad: AICC Telangana In-Charge Meenakshi Natarajan expressed complete satisfaction with Telangana PCC performance, praising the organisational, training and public outreach programmes undertaken since Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud assumed charge as Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president.
Speaking at Gandhi Bhavan, she commended the TPCC for effectively implementing several organisational initiatives, including the Sangathan Srujan Abhiyan, Jai Bapu–Jai Bhim campaign, Managera programme, training camps for District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents, SIR training programmes, appointment of Booth Level Agents (BLAs), formation of DCC committees and constitution of mandal committees.
Telangana PCC performance earns national recognition
Meenakshi Natarajan congratulated TPCC president Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud for executing the programmes successfully. AICC Connecting Centre Chairman Senthil and AICC Secretary Sachin Sawant also appreciated the TPCC leadership and the state party office team.
She also praised Telangana Congress General Secretary and TPCC President’s Office In-Charge P. Prasanna Kumar Sharma for preparing and submitting detailed monthly reports on organisational activities conducted at the district, constituency, mandal and village levels. While reviewing the June activity report, she expressed satisfaction with the implementation of party programmes across the state.
Following a review of the recently conducted SIR process, BLA training programmes and Janahita Padayatra, she said the TPCC’s organisational model had emerged as an example for Congress units in other states.
According to Meenakshi Natarajan, senior AICC leaders and Congress Working Committee members from nearly 11 states had appreciated Telangana’s organisational framework and were considering adopting similar practices.
Telangana PCC performance focused on grassroots strengthening
Meenakshi Natarajan said the Congress aimed to strengthen the party from the village level to every polling booth. She urged party workers to work towards strengthening Rahul Gandhi’s leadership and advised leaders to remain vigilant during the SIR process by appointing supervisors for every Booth Level Agent to ensure continuous monitoring.
She also said AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal had expressed satisfaction with the programmes implemented by the Telangana PCC.
The AICC leader further appreciated P. Prasanna Kumar Sharma for coordinating party office activities, preparing organisational reports and managing party programmes. She advised him to further strengthen the party’s social media initiatives, Connecting Centre activities and organisational programmes. She also congratulated the Gandhi Bhavan staff for their contribution.
TPCC president Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud, AICC Connecting Centre Chairman Senthil, AICC Secretary Sachin Sawant, Telangana Congress General Secretary P. Prasanna Kumar Sharma, General Secretaries Koppula Praveen Kumar and Gampa Venugopal, along with other party leaders, attended the meeting.
