Congress leaders seek transparent SIR process in Telangana

Hyderabad: Congress leaders demanded transparency in the SIR process during a meeting with State Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudarshan Reddy in Hyderabad.

The delegation was led by Congress leader Mahesh Kumar Goud.

Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Rajya Sabha MP Anil Kumar Yadav, MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy and Government Whip MLC Balmuri Venkat attended the meeting.

MLAs Kavvampally Satyanarayana, Naveen Yadav and Sri Ganesh also joined the delegation along with corporation chairpersons and senior Congress leaders.

Congress submits memorandum on SIR process

During the meeting, the Congress leaders submitted a memorandum to the Chief Electoral Officer.

They urged the Election Commission to conduct the process fairly and transparently across the state.

The delegation also asked election authorities to maintain transparency throughout the exercise.
