Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) accused the Congress of targeting former MLA Peddi Sudarshan Reddy, alleging that the late leader faced sustained harassment from the Telangana government.
Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan, KTR claimed the Congress government had subjected BRS leaders to continuous harassment. Moreover, he alleged that the government had spared no senior leader of the party.
KTR said Peddi Sudarshan Reddy consistently raised public issues and exposed alleged irregularities in the government. He claimed the former MLA had produced evidence relating to the Civil Supplies scam and the alleged bunker beds scam in the Education Department.
According to KTR, Sudarshan Reddy submitted the evidence to the Enforcement Directorate and also approached the Supreme Court. However, he said the court issued notices a day after the former MLA’s death. KTR described the development as deeply unfortunate.
