Mega Job Mela in Kodad on September 19, Uttam announces

Hyderabad: Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Thursday announced a Mega Job Mela in Kodad on September 19. Organisers aimed to bring 200 to 250 companies and provide employment opportunities to thousands of unemployed youth.

Uttam Kumar Reddy announced the programme while reviewing arrangements for the employment drive at the Secretariat. He discussed preparations with officials, elected representatives and those involved in organising the event.

Kodad MLA N. Padmavathi Reddy participated in the review meeting. Suryapet District Collector Tejas Nandlal Pawar, other officials and representatives associated with the programme also attended.

The Minister described unemployment among educated youth as one of the most serious challenges facing society. Therefore, he stressed the need for coordinated efforts to expand employment opportunities. He said elected representatives and government agencies had a responsibility to help create more job opportunities for educated unemployed youth.

Mega Job Mela publicity drive planned

Uttam Kumar Reddy directed officials and organisers to conduct extensive publicity for the Mega Job Mela ahead of the September 19 event. He asked them to use social media, local campaigns and other communication platforms to spread information about the recruitment programme.

Moreover, the Minister directed organisers to ensure that details about the event reached every eligible unemployed youth. The publicity campaign was intended to enable more jobseekers to participate in the employment drive.

The planned participation of 200 to 250 companies formed a key part of the preparations. The organisers aimed to connect those companies with thousands of unemployed youth seeking job opportunities.
