GHMC Commissioner reviews Rajendranagar civic infrastructure

Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan inspected Rajendranagar civic infrastructure at Plant Doctor’s Colony in Nalanda Nagar and directed officials to prioritise maintenance and development works.

The Commissioner reviewed the colony park and internal roads in the Attapur Circle of Rajendranagar Zone. He assessed their condition and examined the need for immediate improvement measures.

During the inspection, Karnan checked the park, internal roads, drainage network, greenery and other public amenities. He also reviewed the general upkeep of civic facilities available to residents.

Rajendranagar civic infrastructure works prioritised

The Commissioner instructed officials to begin necessary maintenance and development works without delay. Moreover, he asked them to improve the upkeep of roads, drains, parks and other public spaces.

Karnan said the departments concerned should coordinate their work and address local infrastructure gaps on priority. He also directed officials to improve the quality and usability of public spaces for residents.

The Rajendranagar Zonal Commissioner, Attapur Deputy Commissioner and other GHMC officials accompanied Karnan during the inspection. They briefed him on existing civic conditions and proposed improvement works in the area.

GHMC officials were also asked to monitor the progress of the identified works. The inspection formed part of the civic body’s efforts to strengthen Rajendranagar civic infrastructure and improve neighbourhood amenities.
