Hyderabad: CMC officials reviewed Balanagar civic issues during a meeting with residents under the One Ward Every Day programme.
The Commissioner, Zonal Commissioner, Moosapet Deputy Commissioner and department heads attended the meeting at Raju Colony Community Hall. They interacted with residents and assessed local civic requirements.
Balanagar civic issues raised by residents
Residents sought additional facilities and washrooms at Raju Colony Community Hall. They also requested a retaining wall along the Balanagar nala. Moreover, participants raised concerns about irregular fogging and stray dog management. They also sought infrastructure improvements at the CBR Colony graveyard.
Residents highlighted the need for a foot overbridge to improve pedestrian safety. In addition, they requested timely removal of silt after manhole works. The meeting also covered the need for new streetlights across the ward.
The Commissioner directed the departments concerned to inspect each location. Furthermore, he asked officials to address the identified civic issues on priority.
