Hyderabad: KTR land allegations targeted Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy over alleged family-linked business deals and land allotment in Future City.
BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) accused Revanth Reddy of using such deals to attract investments to Telangana during his US tour.
KTR alleged that the Congress government gave Tesseract Advanced Systems land worth ₹200 crore for ₹7 crore in Future City. He claimed the company had links to Revanth Reddy’s younger brother Kondal Reddy.
The BRS working president inspected the land with former minister Harish Rao and other BRS MLAs. He questioned whether such deals represented the government’s model of public administration.
KTR alleged that Revanth Reddy had brought a ₹1,000-crore investment through industrialist Anumula Jagadishwar Reddy. He also alleged that Kondal Reddy had received benefits worth ₹250 crore.
KTR land allegations focus on alleged family-linked deals
KTR questioned why the BJP had not spoken about what he described as alleged exploitation involving the Anumula brothers. He also referred to BJP claims that Telangana had become an ATM for the Congress.
The BRS working president questioned the Union Home Minister’s role. He asked where the minister was when action against alleged wrongdoing was expected.
KTR also raised questions over agreements involving Israel. He recalled that Rahul Gandhi had questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi over an agreement with Israel.
According to KTR, the same standard should apply to Revanth Reddy’s alleged agreement with Israel. He asked why the BJP had not demanded ED or CBI investigations into the matter.
KTR further alleged that Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy had started Raghava Aerospace and Defence after seeing Revanth Reddy’s approach. He linked the development to his broader allegations against the Congress government.
The BRS leader said the government suspended BRS members from the Assembly because they would question alleged corruption and irregularities. He said the party would not be intimidated by such action.
KTR said BRS leaders would instead explain the government’s alleged corruption to people during their political campaign.
