Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju on Friday directed officials to ensure meticulous planning and advance coordination for the Telangana Global Summit 2026. The summit would take place from December 7 to 9, 2026. Jaju reviewed preparations for the global event during a meeting at the Secretariat.
During the review, the Chief Secretary asked all departments and committees to coordinate their work well in advance. Moreover, he stressed the need for early and comprehensive engagement with delegates and invitees.
Officials should send invitations sufficiently ahead of the event, he said. They should also establish early contact with delegates attending the Telangana Global Summit 2026.
According to Jaju, advance coordination would help officials plan travel and accommodation requirements smoothly. It would also allow them to arrange transportation, security and other requirements for delegates.
Telangana Global Summit 2026 needs holistic action plan
The Chief Secretary directed officials to prepare a holistic action plan for the summit’s Advisory Board and Sectoral Executive Board. In addition, he asked officials to organise a curtain-raiser event in New Delhi by the end of September. The event would aim to create wider national and international visibility for the summit.
Jaju said the curtain-raiser should showcase Telangana’s investment opportunities and growth story. Furthermore, it should highlight key sectors and the State’s vision for the Telangana Global Summit 2026.
The Chief Secretary also reviewed preparations by the Venue Committee, Media Committee and Hospitality Committee. He examined the progress of each committee and sought timelines for completing various preparatory activities.
Telangana Global Summit 2026 venue, media plans reviewed
While reviewing venue preparations, Jaju asked officials to plan all infrastructure and logistical requirements comprehensively. He said the arrangements should account for the participation of national and international delegates.
Meanwhile, the Chief Secretary instructed the Media Committee to prepare a comprehensive communication and publicity strategy. He stressed extensive media outreach to build awareness about the event.
Jaju also emphasised effective dissemination of information about the summit and its outcomes. Therefore, he asked the committees concerned to complete preparations through coordinated planning ahead of the December event.
