Komatireddy launches ₹573 crore HAM road projects in Mahabubnagar

Hyderabad: Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Monday launched HAM road projects worth ₹573 crore in Makthal Assembly constituency under Package-1 of the Mahabubnagar district road development programme.

Tourism and Excise Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, Animal Husbandry Minister Vakiti Srihari, MLAs Yennam Srinivas Reddy and Veerlapalli Shankar, public representatives and officials joined the programme.

Komatireddy said quality roads were essential to attract industries, promote business activity and generate employment opportunities. Meanwhile, he said the government remained committed to strengthening road infrastructure across Telangana.

HAM road projects to improve connectivity

The Minister said the government would execute the projects under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM). He said the HAM model ensured high construction quality, long-term durability and better maintenance.

Further, Komatireddy said the new roads would strengthen rural-urban connectivity. He added that better transport links would boost trade, agriculture and industrial growth across the region.

The Minister said the government aimed to accelerate Telangana’s development by providing durable and high-quality road infrastructure. Additionally, he said the projects would improve connectivity and create new opportunities for economic growth.
