Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directed officials to expedite Kodangal development works, including land acquisition for the Makthal–Narayanpet–Kodangal Lift Irrigation Project, road connectivity and drinking water preparedness during a review meeting on ongoing projects in the constituency.
The Chief Minister instructed officials to speed up the land acquisition process required for the lift irrigation project to avoid delays in execution. He said the project should move forward without administrative hurdles.
Revanth Reddy also ordered officials to ensure road connectivity to every hamlet in the Kodangal constituency. He directed that every village be linked to its respective mandal headquarters with bituminous (BT) roads to improve transport and public access.

Taking note of the possible impact of El Niño conditions, the Chief Minister instructed officials to prepare contingency plans well in advance to prevent drinking water shortages in any part of the constituency.
He asked departments to coordinate closely and complete the required planning at the earliest. The review focused on accelerating infrastructure development while ensuring that essential services, including water supply, remain uninterrupted across Kodangal.
