German language training centre launched in Mandamarri to boost global job opportunities

Hyderabad: A German language training centre has been launched in Mandamarri under the Telangana Overseas Manpower Company (TOMCOM) to help young people access international employment, higher education and skill development opportunities.

The centre has been established as part of an Advanced Training Centre (ATC) aimed at enhancing employability and industry-oriented skills among youth.

Officials said the initiative would provide language training, technical skills and specialised courses required by global industries.

The programme focuses particularly on creating opportunities in Germany, where demand for skilled professionals continues to grow.

German language training centre to provide international career support

The German language training centre will offer language proficiency training along with interview preparation and communication skills development.

Participants will also receive guidance on overseas employment opportunities and international career pathways.

Officials said proficiency in the German language would help students and job seekers compete in the global employment market.

To accommodate more participants, the Mandamarri ATC Centre will conduct training in two batches.

Morning and evening sessions will allow a larger number of youth to benefit from the programme.

The government said the initiative was designed to ensure that rural youth also gained access to international opportunities.

German language training centre offers stipend support

The government has been establishing ATC centres across Telangana to strengthen skill development programmes.

Officials said the state required nearly 120 such centres. However, 65 centres have already been sanctioned.

The government plans to establish additional centres in phases across the remaining regions.

According to officials, the objective is to provide quality training opportunities in every Assembly constituency.

The programme also recognises growing employment opportunities in countries such as Germany.

Officials noted that skilled workers were in high demand in Germany and that the country offered competitive salaries and job security.

They added that work schedules in Germany generally range between 32 and 40 hours per week.

As a result, many young professionals around the world view Germany as an attractive destination for employment.

To encourage participation, TOMCOM is providing a monthly stipend of ₹2,000 to students enrolled in the German language training centre programme.

In addition, the Kaka Venkataswamy Trust will contribute another ₹1,000 as financial assistance.

With a combined monthly support of ₹3,000, students can focus on training without financial constraints.

Officials said the initiative aimed to ensure that economic difficulties did not prevent youth from pursuing education and skill development opportunities.
