Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) set up the SIR-2026 Help Desk at the Telangana High Court on Tuesday to assist voters with the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 of electoral rolls.
The initiative was organised on the directions of District Election Officer and GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan. It aimed to facilitate electors during the electoral roll revision process.
High Court Registrars Sridher Rao, Goverdhan Reddy and Srinivas Reddy attended the programme. Additional Commissioner (Elections) Chandrakala and Charminar Zone Deputy Commissioner Sarita also participated.
SIR-2026 Help Desk assists voters with electoral roll revision
Officials explained the submission of Enumeration Forms through online and offline modes. They also briefed electors on voter mapping and other aspects of the revision process. In addition, they addressed queries raised by participants.
Further, the help desk assisted voters with 2002 voter mapping, verification of electoral details and submission of Enumeration Forms. Officials said the initiative aimed to ensure a smooth, transparent and citizen-friendly electoral roll revision process.
