Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy and Telangana Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy extended greetings to coal mine workers on Coal Miners’ Day.
Revanth Reddy conveyed heartfelt wishes to coal mine workers and their families. He praised their sacrifice, dedication and continuous hard work in powering the country.
The Chief Minister stated that workers’ welfare remained a priority for the people’s government. He added that the government would continue working for their welfare and wellbeing.
Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy also greeted coal miners and their families on the occasion.
He said the dedication and resilience of coal workers formed the backbone of India’s energy security and industrial growth.
Coal Miners’ Day highlights contribution of workers
Kishan Reddy stated that the Union government remained committed to ensuring the safety, dignity and welfare of coal mine workers.
According to the Union Minister, the Centre would continue strengthening the coal sector to support a self-reliant India.
Telangana Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy also extended greetings to mine workers on the occasion.
He described coal miners as tireless workers who bring light to society by working in dark mines and contributing to the state’s development.
