Indiramma Housing scheme must ensure dignity for poor: Adluri

Hyderabad: SC, ST Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar said the Indiramma Housing scheme should become a benchmark welfare model in the erstwhile Nalgonda district under the Congress government led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

Indiramma Housing scheme targets vulnerable sections

He stressed that priority should go to SCs, STs, BCs, minorities, persons with disabilities, single women and other vulnerable groups.

The Minister instructed collectors to release subsequent instalments on time to beneficiaries who already received the first phase of housing assistance. He said uninterrupted financial support would speed up construction works.

Adluri Laxman Kumar also emphasised coordination between elected representatives and grassroots officials. According to him, this would improve grievance redressal and implementation efficiency.

The Minister observed that education, employment and housing security could transform poor families. Therefore, he said the Revanth Reddy government was pursuing integrated welfare policies with a long-term vision for inclusive growth and social justice.

Indiramma Housing scheme linked to land reforms
