BJP Leader Laxman says Jubilee Hills bypoll will decide Telangana’s future

Hyderabad: BJP OBC Morcha national president K. Laxman said the Jubilee Hills bypoll would shape Telangana’s future. He addressed the media in Hyderabad on Monday and alleged that both Congress and BRS were working to strengthen AIMIM.

Laxman accused the two parties of competing to spend money and influence voters. “Congress is contesting only to make AIMIM win,” he said. “undocumented people and Rohingyas are gaining control in Hyderabad. Therefore, BJP workers must treat this election as a fight for Telangana’s integrity,” he added.

Laxman Jubilee Hills bypoll comments target Congress and BRS

Laxman said law and order had collapsed under the Congress government. He noted that more than 500 murders occurred within a year, exposing the state’s poor governance. “Even police officers have no safety now. Gun culture has spread across Telangana,” he remarked.

He also said BRS had already lost people’s trust. “Congress came to power through deception, and its ministers are now racing each other in corruption,” he said. Furthermore, Laxman criticised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for losing control over the administration. “IAS officers are being forced out. Rahul Gandhi has failed the BC community despite his slogans,” he said.

According to Laxman, the Modi government alone has ensured justice for backward classes. “Rahul’s family always opposed BC reservations. The Congress only sheds crocodile tears,” he said.

Laxman cites Bihar as NDA’s model of governance

Laxman said the NDA alliance would achieve a decisive victory in Bihar. “Bihar, once known for jungle raj, is now progressing rapidly under NDA rule,” he said. Moreover, he accused Rahul Gandhi of joining hands with foreign conspirators to divide the country on religious lines.

He added that the people had rejected such divisive politics. “Congress’s slogan about stolen votes has backfired,” he said. “The party is now shouting about fraud after being caught in its own lies.”

Additionally, Laxman said Telangana’s citizens were watching all of this closely. “People now want transparency and accountability like in BJP-ruled states,” he said. “They will ensure the same governance here soon.”

Jubilee Hills bypoll on November 11

The bypoll became necessary after MLA Maganti Gopinath died suddenly. The Election Commission scheduled polling for November 11 and counting for November 14.

BJP nominated Lankala Deepak Reddy, while Congress fielded Naveen Yadav and BRS chose Maganti Sunitha Gopinath. As a result, the constituency faces a triangular contest between the three major parties.

Laxman said a BJP victory in Jubilee Hills would send a strong message to both the Congress and AIMIM. “Our win here will mark the beginning of Telangana’s political change,” he said.
