Bhu Bharati portal rollout begins in five mandals from April 2

Hyderabad: The state government will begin the Bhu Bharati portal rollout in five mandals from April 2, replacing the existing Dharani system with a unified digital land records platform.

Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy announced the launch on Thursday, describing it as a major reform in land administration. The pilot will cover Kosgi, Amangal, Vatpally, Kusumanchi and Aswaraopeta mandals.

The minister said the new system integrates Survey, Stamps and Registration departments to provide faster and more transparent services. Each land parcel will receive a unique ‘Bhudhar number’, similar to Aadhaar, to streamline identification and tracking.

He added that the platform includes a Citizen Dashboard offering access to key services such as Record of Rights, mutation status, encumbrance certificates, market values, maps and registration details. Users can access these services through Aadhaar-linked mobile login.

The minister said mandatory survey maps during property registration would reduce disputes. In addition, SMS alerts will inform applicants at every stage, from submission to completion of services.

After assessing the pilot phase, the government plans to expand the system across the state. The initiative aligns with the governance vision of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said the Bhu Bharati portal rollout was designed to be user-friendly and accessible. Farmers, he said, can retrieve complete land information with a single click after logging in using an Aadhaar-linked mobile number.

He said the portal covers services related to information, survey, correction, appeal and registration. Under the Citizen Dashboard, users will access features such as ‘My Land’ portfolio, NALA orders, registration document details, feedback systems and contact details of officials.

The system will also provide ROR records, Bhudhar numbers, application status, mutation records, encumbrance certificates, market value data, village maps, survey number maps, village sketches and passbook correction services.

He said applicants would receive SMS updates at every stage of registration and other land-related services, ensuring transparency throughout the process.

The minister added that the earlier Dharani portal operated through 36 separate modules. These modules have now been consolidated into a single unified system under Bhu Bharati to simplify access and improve efficiency.

The Bhu Bharati portal rollout is expected to significantly improve transparency, reduce disputes and enhance service delivery in land governance across Telangana.
