Hyderabad: Minister Seethakka visited NIMS Hospital after a Khammam assault survivor underwent surgery and assured the victim’s family of continued support from the Telangana government during her recovery.
Telangana Legal Services Authority Member Secretary Justice Panchakshari accompanied the minister during the visit. The two reviewed the medical treatment being provided to the girl and interacted with the doctors attending to her.
Doctors briefed Seethakka and Justice Panchakshari on the surgery and the victim’s post-operative condition. According to the medical team, the girl remains under close observation and continues to receive the required medical care.

Meanwhile, Seethakka met the girl’s parents and offered them reassurance. She urged the family not to lose hope and said the government would stand by them throughout the treatment and recovery process.
The minister said authorities would ensure the victim receives the best possible medical care until she fully recovers. She also assured the family of all necessary assistance during the course of treatment.
Further, Seethakka and Justice Panchakshari handed over a cheque for Rs 5 lakh to the victim’s family on behalf of the state government.
The minister said the government would pay special attention to the girl’s treatment, rehabilitation and welfare. In addition, she assured the family of financial and legal assistance whenever required.
Seethakka reiterated that the government would continue supporting the family until the girl recovers and returns to normal life. The hospital team continues to monitor her condition following the surgery.
