Cyberabad Commissioner reviews civic issues in Pragathi Nagar

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner G. Srijana reviewed civic infrastructure issues in Pragathi Nagar under the One Ward Every Day initiative. She visited the ward along with the Zonal Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner and other officials and interacted with residents and Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs).

The visit covered Pragathi Nagar Ward in Nizampet Circle of the Quthbullapur Zone. Residents highlighted several civic issues and sought improvements in public infrastructure and essential services.

Pragathi Nagar residents raise civic concerns

During the interaction, residents sought better maintenance of parks, walking tracks, play equipment and other public amenities. They also raised concerns over drainage overflows, sewage discharge and waterlogging in low-lying areas.

Further, residents highlighted the need for improved street lighting, pothole repairs, road restoration and traffic safety measures. They also sought the removal of road encroachments to improve traffic flow.

Meanwhile, participants urged the civic body to strengthen sanitation, mosquito control and stray dog management. They also requested improvements to community facilities, burial ground infrastructure and public transport amenities.

Following the review, G. Srijana directed the concerned departments to prioritise the identified issues. She also instructed officials to ensure coordinated follow-up for their timely resolution.
