Hyderabad: Hyderabad District Election Officer (DEO) and GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan inspected SIR 2026 field work at Polling Station No. 254 in Dayanand Nagar, Adikmet, under the 57-Musheerabad Assembly Constituency. He reviewed the implementation of the Special Intensive Revision programme and assessed voter enumeration activities.
Accompanied by the Secunderabad Zonal Commissioner, Karnan interacted with residents and verified the distribution of Enumeration Forms. He also addressed voter queries during the field visit.
SIR 2026 inspection focuses on voter services
The DEO reviewed the field-level implementation of the Special Intensive Revision exercise. He assessed the progress of activities being carried out at the polling station.
Further, Karnan directed the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO), BLO Supervisory Officers, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) to strictly follow the Election Commission’s guidelines.
He also instructed officials to complete all assigned tasks on time and ensure efficient voter services throughout the revision process.
