SIR notice distribution inspected in Karwan constituency

Hyderabad: District Election Officer and GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan inspected SIR notice distribution at two polling stations in Karwan Assembly Constituency-64. Karnan visited Polling Stations No. 94 and 95 at Moghal Nagar and reviewed the progress of the Special Intensive Revision exercise.

During the field inspection, he interacted with Booth Level Officers and BLO Supervisors. He also reviewed the exercise with the Assistant Electoral Registration Officer and Electoral Registration Officer.

The Commissioner directed election teams to ensure that SIR notices reached the concerned electors without delay. Karnan instructed officials to properly guide voters through the verification process. He asked teams to clearly explain the required documents, forms and submission procedure.

Moreover, the Commissioner stressed coordination among officials handling SIR notice distribution in the constituency. He asked them to respond promptly to questions from electors and provide effective assistance throughout the process.

Karnan also interacted with local residents during his visit. He explained the importance of the Special Intensive Revision exercise and advised them to carefully verify details in their notices. The Commissioner urged electors to complete the required process within the prescribed timeline.

SIR notice distribution assistance available through BLOs

Karnan advised citizens who needed clarification or assistance to approach their concerned Booth Level Officers. The BLOs would help electors understand the verification requirements, documents, forms and submission procedure.

In addition, the Commissioner directed election personnel to facilitate electors effectively during the revision exercise. He stressed that proper coordination and timely responses to citizen queries were essential for the exercise.

Karnan said officials should ensure a smooth and transparent SIR process while assisting voters at the field level.
