Election teams must stay alert till Jubilee Hills bypoll ends: GHMC Commissioner

Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner and District Election Officer R.V. Karnan on Friday directed all election monitoring teams to stay alert until the completion of the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election.

Speaking at a training session held at the GHMC head office, Karnan addressed officials from Expenditure Monitoring, Flying Squad (FST), Static Surveillance (SST), Video Surveillance (VST), Video Viewing (VVT), and Model Code of Conduct (MCC) teams.

He urged teams to strictly follow the Election Commission’s guidelines and perform their duties with integrity. The training aimed to ensure that enforcement teams are fully prepared to handle poll-related responsibilities.

Senior officials including Hemant Keshav Patil, MCC Nodal Officer Narasimha Reddy, and Chief Horticulture Officer Sunanda were present at the session.
