SIR form distribution reaches 93.5% in Telangana

Hyderabad: SIR form distribution reached 93.5% across Telangana as of 8 am on July 7, according to the latest status report released by the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO). Officials distributed 3,16,30,549 enumeration forms out of 3,38,28,914 electors statewide.

The report showed that officials had digitised 3,31,087 enumeration forms, accounting for 9.79% of the total electorate. The CEO’s office is monitoring the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process district-wise.

SIR form distribution crosses 93% statewide

Nirmal and Jogulamba Gadwal completed 100% distribution of enumeration forms. Several other districts, including Mancherial, Siddipet, Jangaon, Khammam and Mahabubnagar, also recorded distribution above 99%.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad recorded 78.75% distribution, while Medchal-Malkajgiri stood at 84.05%. Rangareddy reported 91.61%, and Sangareddy registered 91.66%.

Digitisation progressed at varying levels across districts. Yadadri Bhuvanagiri recorded 39.88%, followed by Kumaram Bheem Asifabad with 31.97% and Nalgonda with 27.86%.

The Chief Electoral Officer’s office said the Special Intensive Revision process is continuing across all districts.
