Residents also sought faster execution of storm water drain remodelling under the Strategic Nala Development Programme (SNDP), BT road and underground drainage works in various colonies, and stronger sanitation services in areas facing staff shortages.
Traffic management, including a U-turn near Accurate Wind Chimes, removal of encroachments on roads, storm water drains and footpaths, and action against illegal belt shops also came up for discussion.
The Commissioner directed the concerned departments to examine all issues, coordinate with line agencies and prioritise the pending works to ensure their early resolution.
