Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka directed all departments to coordinate closely for the successful conduct of the Telangana global summit 2026.
The summit will take place on December 7, 8 and 9. The Praja Government will organise the event.
Bhatti held a review meeting with senior officials at Praja Bhavan on Monday. IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju, members of the sub-committees and other senior officials attended the meeting.
During the review, Bhatti instructed officials to plan every aspect of the summit well in advance. He also ordered regular monitoring to prevent lapses in the arrangements.
The Deputy Chief Minister stressed the need for close coordination among departments throughout the preparations. He asked officials to address issues quickly and maintain coordination until the event concludes.
Telangana global summit to get dedicated war room
Bhatti proposed a special war room at Praja Bhavan to monitor preparations for the Telangana global summit.
The war room would review arrangements regularly and support quick decisions when necessary. Officials would also track progress every day and strengthen coordination between departments.
The Deputy Chief Minister directed officials to constitute special committees for different aspects of the summit. Senior officers would head each committee.
He called for advance planning and effective supervision of responsibilities assigned to the committees.
The departments will coordinate their preparations under the designated senior officers ahead of the December event.
