TPCC president meets Rahul Gandhi in Delhi to discuss party matters

Hyderabad: TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud concluded his meeting with AICC top leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, in New Delhi, where key issues were discussed.

The meeting, held at 10 Janpath, lasted about 15 minutes. During the interaction, the TPCC president briefed Rahul Gandhi on development and welfare programmes in Telangana.

He also explained ongoing organisational activities within the party. These included appointments of DCC presidents, district and mandal committees, booth-level agents, and affiliated bodies.

In addition, the TPCC president meeting covered recent political developments in the state. Both leaders discussed current issues concerning party affairs.

TPCC president meeting reviews caste survey and OBC issues

Mahesh Kumar Goud informed Rahul Gandhi that a caste survey had been conducted in the state. He said comprehensive official data had been compiled and released as promised earlier.

He also requested that provisions for Backward Classes reservations be included in the Women’s Reservation Bill.

Further, he urged that the upcoming AICC National OBC Advisory Council meeting be held in Hyderabad. Rahul Gandhi responded positively to the proposal, according to party sources.

Earlier, former Rajya Sabha member V. Hanumantha Rao and Rajya Sabha MP Anil Yadav Mandadi also met Rahul Gandhi.
