BJP state chief pays last respects to Nadendla Bhaskara Rao

Hyderabad: BJP Telangana president N. Ramchander Rao on Thursday paid last respects to Nadendla Bhaskara Rao, who passed away in Hyderabad a day earlier.

Bhaskara Rao, a former Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh and senior BJP leader, died on Wednesday. His death drew tributes from leaders across the political spectrum.

Ramchander Rao visited the late leader’s residence in Jubilee Hills. He placed a wreath on the mortal remains and offered prayers along with party leaders, including N.V. Subhash.

He also met the bereaved family members. Among them was Andhra Pradesh minister Nadendla Manohar, son of Nadendla Bhaskara Rao and a Jana Sena Party leader.

Ramchander Rao described the demise as a profound loss. He said Bhaskara Rao made significant contributions to the undivided state.

He added that the late leader guided BJP cadre with dedication. He also recalled that Bhaskara Rao had personally blessed him after his appointment as state BJP chief.

Party leaders extended condolences to the family and prayed for the departed leader’s soul.
