The Prime Minister will dedicate railway infrastructure projects worth around ₹1,535 crore to the nation. These include multiple sections of the Kazipet-Vijayawada multi-tracking project covering 118 kilometres.
The railway expansion will increase line capacity on the Grand Trunk corridor. It will also support faster train operations, reduce congestion, improve punctuality and boost freight movement across the region.
Narendra Modi will also dedicate the Kazipet Rail Under Rail Bypass project to the nation. The project is expected to decongest Kazipet Junction by enabling simultaneous train movement towards Hyderabad, Balharshah and Vijayawada.
Telangana infrastructure projects include highway expansion
The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the four-laning of National Highway-167 from Gudebellur to Mahabubnagar on the Hyderabad-Panaji Economic Corridor.
The highway project will be developed at a cost of more than ₹3,175 crore. It is expected to reduce travel time by nearly one hour and 30 minutes while lowering fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance costs.
The project will strengthen road connectivity between Telangana and Karnataka. It will also support industrial development in both states.
Narendra Modi will also lay the foundation stone for the Zaheerabad Industrial Area in Sangareddy district under the Hyderabad-Nagpur Industrial Corridor programme.
The industrial township will be developed across 3,245 acres at a cost of over ₹2,350 crore. The project is located along NH-65 and will provide multimodal connectivity to ports, airports, railway networks and major cities.
Officials identified automobile, machinery, food processing, metals and electrical equipment as key sectors for the industrial area. The project is expected to attract investments of nearly ₹10,000 crore and generate large-scale employment opportunities.
Telangana infrastructure projects focus on industry and healthcare
The Prime Minister will inaugurate the PM MITRA Park at Warangal, also known as the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, developed under the PM MITRA Scheme.

The park is located near the proposed Nagpur-Vijayawada Greenfield Expressway and close to NH-163. It offers connectivity to railway networks and seaports for textile exports and logistics.
