Hyderabad: Telangana BJP president N. Ramchander Rao on Thursday said the BJP had steadily expanded in the state, while the Congress and BRS had rapidly lost public confidence.
Addressing party workers at the two-day Deen Dayal Prashikshan Taragathulu training classes in Siddipet, Rao said the Telangana BJP expansion reflected growing support for the party across the state. He claimed that India received true global recognition during the tenure of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance.
Rao accused the Congress and BRS of corruption. Moreover, he alleged that both parties had protected each other’s interests. Therefore, he demanded transparent investigations into the Kaleshwaram project and the Formula-E car race controversies.
Telangana BJP expansion linked to Modi leadership
Rao praised Modi’s leadership and said India had emerged as the world’s fourth-largest economy. He also asked BJP workers to intensify efforts to bring a “Double Engine Sarkar” to Telangana.
He said the Central government had already allocated around Rs 13 lakh crore for Telangana’s development. In addition, he said major projects such as national highways, the Zaheerabad Industrial Area and the Textile Park in Warangal became possible only under Modi’s leadership.
Rao further said the Telangana BJP expansion would continue as people moved away from the Congress and BRS. He urged party workers to strengthen the organisation and take the BJP’s development message to voters.
