Hyderabad: A missing family in Kamareddy case has triggered concern after a woman and her three children failed to return home following a shopping trip to the district headquarters.
According to Kamareddy Town CI Narahari, Yadaram Laya alias Shyamala, 31, a resident of Kondapur village in Rajampet mandal, travelled to Kamareddy town on Wednesday.
She was accompanied by her daughters Bindu, 17, and Divija, 8, as well as her son Shiva, 13.
The family reportedly visited the town for shopping.
Missing family in Kamareddy under police investigation
After completing their shopping, Shyamala visited her brother’s residence in Kamareddy town.
The family had lunch there before leaving in the evening.
According to police, Shyamala informed relatives that they were returning home.
However, the family did not reach Kondapur village.
Meanwhile, Shyamala’s husband Bhanu Prakash waited for their arrival after they reportedly said they would return by bus.
When the family failed to return home by around 8 pm, he approached the police.
Subsequently, police registered a missing case and launched an investigation.
Officials are trying to trace the whereabouts of the woman and the three children.
