CM Revanth Reddy orders probe into case against Bandi Sanjay’s son

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy directed Telangana Police to immediately investigate the case registered at Pet Basheerabad police station against Bhagirath, son of Union Minister Bandi Sanjay.

The Chief Minister instructed Director General of Police CV Anand to begin the probe without delay. He questioned police officials over the lack of action despite receiving the complaint on May 8.

DGP CV Anand briefed the Chief Minister on the case during a review meeting. He told Revanth Reddy that police personnel remained busy with security arrangements during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Hyderabad visit.

Bandi Sanjay son case handed to special teams

Revanth Reddy directed the DGP to form special teams for a detailed investigation. He also told officials to speed up the inquiry and take further action quickly.

The Chief Minister issued the directions after opposition leaders criticised delays in the investigation involving the Union minister’s son.
