Hyderabad: Police have launched an investigation into the Nalgonda teacher suicide case after a private school teacher was found dead on the school premises in Nalgonda town on Monday.
According to Two Town Circle Inspector Raghav Rao and local residents, Mandal Nandita, 36, originally from West Bengal, was working as a teacher at a private school in the town. Police said she had been married for 14 years and had no children.
Officials stated that she had reportedly been experiencing emotional distress for some time. The incident came to light after school hours when she was found dead on the campus.
Police initiated action following a complaint filed by her husband, Mandal Prolai. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway to ascertain all circumstances related to the death.

Investigators are collecting information from family members, colleagues and others connected to the case as part of the inquiry.
Authorities have not announced any conclusions and said the investigation will continue. Police are expected to submit further findings after completing the inquiry process.
