Hyderabad: President Droupadi Murmu congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on achieving a milestone in his Modi record tenure as India’s longest continuously elected Prime Minister.
She described the occasion as a reflection of the trust and confidence reposed in his leadership by the people of India.
President Murmu said the Prime Minister’s tenure had witnessed significant progress in governance, economic resilience and social transformation.
She noted that several welfare initiatives had expanded access to development benefits at the grassroots level.
Modi record tenure marked by welfare and development initiatives
The President said the government’s programmes reflected the principles of Antyodaya and inclusive development.
She highlighted PM-JANMAN and the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan among the initiatives undertaken during Modi’s tenure.
According to her, both programmes held a special place in her heart.
Meanwhile, President Murmu said the Prime Minister’s journey continued to inspire confidence in India’s democratic traditions.
She also expressed hope that his leadership would continue to guide the nation towards the goals of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat.
Further, the President prayed for Modi’s good health and long life.
She said she hoped he would continue serving the nation in the years ahead.
