Hyderabad: Abids Police organised a Abids Police nutrition awareness session for police personnel, stressing the importance of healthy eating, fitness and good lifestyle habits to maintain physical and mental well-being.

Health experts said police personnel work round the clock to maintain law and order. They advised officers to follow a balanced diet and adopt healthy routines to remain fit for demanding duties.

The programme focused on preventive healthcare and encouraged personnel to strengthen their immunity through nutritious food. Experts recommended including fruits and nutrient-rich foods in daily meals to improve overall health and energy levels.

They also advised police personnel to avoid junk food and limit the consumption of oily foods and refined flour products. According to the speakers, healthier food choices can help improve fitness and enhance job performance.
