Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy completed his SIR voter verification form on Wednesday and submitted it to the Booth Level Officers (BLOs). He urged citizens to verify their electoral details before the deadline. Those who fail to complete the process risk losing their names from the electoral rolls, he warned.
The Chief Minister also appealed to public representatives to create awareness and help eligible voters complete the verification process.
Addressing local leaders and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) in Kodangal, Revanth Reddy called for 100 per cent completion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise. According to him, every eligible voter should remain on the electoral rolls.

Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy alleged that the BJP was attempting to remove the votes of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and minority communities. He also claimed that the BJP and the BRS were working together to weaken the Congress by targeting its support base in Kodangal.
The Chief Minister said he got the opportunity to lead the State with the blessings of the people of Kodangal. He alleged that political opponents were trying to weaken him in the constituency to affect him at the State level.
Further, the Chief Minister said the SIR exercise would continue until August 3. So far, officials have verified 1,96,620 votes in the Kodangal Assembly constituency. Another 54,635 voters are yet to complete the process.
At present, nearly 22 per cent of the constituency’s voters have not completed verification. Revanth Reddy warned that deleting those names could have serious consequences. Therefore, he urged party workers to visit every household and help eligible voters submit their verification forms.
Booth Level Agents have the responsibility of submitting voter details to election officials, he said. He called for 100 per cent completion of SIR voter verification in Kodangal by July 30. No eligible voter should lose the right to vote, he added.
