Revanth Reddy orders faster urban development works in three municipal corporations

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directed officials to accelerate development works across the Hyderabad, Malkajgiri and Cyberabad municipal corporation limits during a review meeting held at the MCR HRD Bodhi Pavilion. He instructed departments to improve coordination and remove delays in project execution.

The Chief Minister ordered officials not to invite tenders before completing the required land acquisition for development projects. He said the government had appointed a special officer to oversee land acquisition and asked authorities to hold a coordination meeting with all departments to secure timely approvals within the three commissionerates.

Officials also reviewed the progress of infrastructure projects planned across the three civic bodies. Moreover, the Chief Minister stressed that faster inter-departmental coordination would help complete the works without unnecessary delays.

Revanth Reddy instructed HMDA officials to speed up the construction of the junction and the installation of the statue of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation area.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister examined the architectural models of the National Institute of Urban Management (NIUM) building and the proposed Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation building. He offered several suggestions to improve the designs.

Ashok Reddy and other senior officials attended the review meeting.
