Hyderabad: The Department of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana, signed a Hetero Pharmaceuticals MoU with Hetero Pharmaceuticals to strengthen industry-institution collaboration and improve employment opportunities for students studying in Government Junior Colleges across the State.
Director of Intermediate Education Abhilasha Abhinav, IAS, witnessed the exchange of the Memorandum of Understanding. Joint Director Yenkya Nayak and State Institute of Vocational Education (SIVE) Principal Dr. Jyothsna Rani also attended the programme.
Senior Hetero Pharmaceuticals representatives, including Vice President-HR Dr. S. Venkata Jayapal Reddy, Senior Manager-HR Madhuri I. and HR Officer Karnakanti Venu Madhav, were present.
Under the agreement, Hetero Pharmaceuticals will facilitate industry interaction, campus recruitment and skill development programmes. It will also provide internships, faculty exposure and laboratory support under CSR initiatives. Eligible Intermediate and Vocational students, particularly those in Life Sciences and allied streams, will receive employment opportunities.

Abhilasha Abhinav said the partnership reflected the department’s commitment to creating meaningful career opportunities for students. She said the collaboration would provide industry-relevant training and ensure access to sustainable employment opportunities.
Meanwhile, Dr. S. Venkata Jayapal Reddy said Hetero Pharmaceuticals was proud to strengthen its partnership with the Department of Intermediate Education. He said the company would contribute to the State’s vision of improving youth employability by creating more than 300 employment opportunities for Intermediate-qualified youth.
Further, the Department described the Hetero Pharmaceuticals MoU as an important initiative to strengthen vocational education. It said the collaboration would improve employability and build sustainable partnerships with leading industries for the benefit of Telangana’s youth.
