Revanth foreign tours benefit Telangana or family businesses, asks Krishank
Hyderabad: BRS spokesperson Manne Krishank on Monday questioned whether Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s foreign tours had benefited Telangana or businesses linked to his family.
Krishank demanded that the state government release details of investments attracted through the Chief Minister’s overseas visits. He also sought figures on industries that came to Telangana and jobs created through those trips.
He said Revanth Reddy had visited Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Dubai, Davos, the US and the UK. The Chief Minister had also announced plans to bring international educational institutions such as Harvard and Oxford to the proposed “Fourth City”, Krishank said.
The BRS spokesperson sought details of Anumula Kondal Reddy’s role during the Chief Minister’s Davos visit. He also raised questions about subsequent meetings involving the Israel Innovation Authority.
Krishank referred to an agreement between Israeli firm Redler Technologies and Tesseract Advanced Systems. He questioned the capacity in which Kondal Reddy met foreign representatives.
“The CM meets with the Israeli representatives and later his brother Kondal Reddy meets with the concerned individuals and finally an agreement is signed. How exactly did Anumula Kondal Reddy become the chairman of an Israeli defense company? In what capacity did he meet with foreign representatives,” he asked.

Krishank also sought clarification over reports concerning Swachh Bio, which he identified as a company owned by the Chief Minister’s brother Anumula Jagadeesh.
He alleged that the company signed an MoU worth about ₹1,000 crore during an earlier US visit. Krishank demanded a response from the state government on the allegation.
He further said Revanth Reddy had not answered questions raised by BRS working president KTR concerning the business dealings of Maxbion Pharma and Medicover.
According to Krishank, foreign tours by a Chief Minister should focus on attracting investments, industries and employment to Telangana. However, he said the alleged business opportunities involving companies linked to the Chief Minister’s family had raised public doubts.
Krishank also referred to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s criticism of agreements between the Central Government and Israel. He questioned how the Telangana Chief Minister’s brother could enter agreements with Israeli defence firms.
The BRS spokesperson demanded a comprehensive and independent Central inquiry into the Chief Minister’s foreign tours. He sought scrutiny of meetings with foreign entities, agreements signed and land allocations to companies.
Krishank also sought an inquiry into allegations concerning business dealings involving members of the Chief Minister’s family.
He warned that BRS MLAs would raise the issues in the Telangana Assembly if Revanth Reddy did not respond.
