Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Anumula invited Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026. He also requested Singh to inaugurate Defence Expo 2026 at Bharat Future City from December 7 to 9.
The event will highlight India’s aerospace, defence and space capabilities. An air show, defence exhibitions and live demonstrations will form key attractions at the summit.
Meanwhile, Telangana is strengthening its defence ecosystem through major infrastructure and project initiatives. The state has secured 750 acres for the proposed Adilabad Airport.
The government has also approved 416.18 acres for a major DRDL project in Mahabubnagar. These developments were highlighted as part of Telangana’s efforts to expand its defence and aerospace ecosystem.
The proposed summit is expected to provide a platform for showcasing India’s capabilities across strategic sectors. In addition, the Defence Expo 2026 programme will feature live demonstrations alongside exhibitions.
Defence Expo 2026 to showcase aerospace and defence capabilities
The Defence Expo 2026 programme will be part of the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026. The summit is scheduled at Bharat Future City from December 7 to 9.
According to the announcement, the event will bring together displays covering aerospace, defence and space capabilities. The planned air show will also form part of the programme.
At the same time, Telangana is advancing infrastructure linked to its wider defence ecosystem. The state has secured 750 acres for Adilabad Airport.
Separately, authorities approved 416.18 acres in Mahabubnagar for a major DRDL project. The initiatives were highlighted alongside Telangana’s plans to strengthen its position in aerospace and defence.
The developments come as the state prepares to host the global summit. The proposed Defence Expo 2026 inauguration by Rajnath Singh would add a dedicated defence focus to the event.
