Revanth Reddy pays YSR death anniversary tribute in Delhi

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy paid tribute to former united Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on his death anniversary in Delhi on Wednesday. He described YSR as a leader who earned a permanent place in people’s hearts through development and welfare programmes.

Revanth Reddy garlanded a portrait of the former chief minister at his official residence in Delhi. The YSR death anniversary programme was attended by a minister, MPs and other leaders.

Speaking on the occasion, Revanth Reddy recalled several development projects and welfare schemes implemented during YSR’s tenure. He said the former chief minister had left an indelible mark on governance.

YSR death anniversary tribute recalls welfare initiatives

Revanth Reddy specifically cited irrigation projects and the Outer Ring Road among YSR’s major development initiatives. He also recalled the farm loan waiver, fee reimbursement and Aarogyasri welfare schemes.

The Chief Minister said these development works and welfare programmes had distinguished YSR’s administration. Moreover, he said they had helped the former chief minister secure a lasting place in people’s hearts.

Minister G. Vivek Venkataswamy attended the YSR death anniversary tribute. MPs Dr Mallu Ravi, Suresh Shetkar, Porika Balram Naik and M. Anil Kumar Yadav also participated in the programme.
