Hyderabad: More than 1,000 young job seekers from across the state secured employment offers at Kaushal Mahotsav – Warangal 2026, a mega recruitment and skilling event organised by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) in collaboration with the Telangana Government and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
The event was held at Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science (KITS), Warangal, and witnessed strong participation from aspiring candidates and leading employers. More than 4,500 candidates registered for the programme, while over 2,200 attended on-the-spot recruitment drives.
More than 90 companies interviewed candidates and offered jobs across manufacturing, automotive, logistics, textiles, retail, healthcare, IT-ITeS, telecom, tourism, hospitality and BFSI sectors. Officials said nearly 50 percent of candidates who participated in the recruitment process received employment offers.
Applicants who were not selected during the event will continue to be considered by participating companies as part of their ongoing recruitment process.
MSDE Director V.S. Arvind said the overwhelming response reflected the increasing demand for skilled professionals and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to connecting youth with quality employment opportunities.
Telangana youth jobs drive attracts leading employers
Several prominent employers, including Prompt Personnel, ParadigmIT Technology Services, Sitaram Spinners, Royal Enfield dealerships, KAPSTON Services, Cream Stone, Jayabheri Automotives, Blink Commerce and Varun Motors, participated in the recruitment drive.
The Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Limited (TOMCOM) also facilitated more than 200 overseas employment opportunities for eligible candidates, expanding the scope of placements beyond domestic jobs.
Apart from recruitment, the Kaushal Mahotsav created awareness about apprenticeship opportunities and key skill development initiatives, including the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and Skill India Digital.
Officials described the successful Warangal edition as an important step towards strengthening the state’s skilled workforce and supporting the national vision of “Viksit Bharat @2047” through sustained employment and skill development initiatives.
