ITP Aero India launches aerospace manufacturing unit in Shamshabad

Hyderabad: Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for the ITP Aero India manufacturing facility at Hardware Park Phase-III in Shamshabad of Ranga Reddy district.

The project will come up on 10 acres with an investment of ₹453 crore. Moreover, the company will manufacture end-fittings and brackets used in rigid tubes for aircraft engines.

Officials said the plant will begin full-scale operations by 2027. Meanwhile, the facility will focus on producing critical aerospace engine components through precision engineering and advanced manufacturing processes.

The unit is expected to create jobs for nearly 350 highly skilled professionals during the initial phase. In addition, these roles will cover precision engineering, quality control and advanced manufacturing operations.

According to officials, the workforce at the facility is likely to increase to around 600 employees in the coming years as production expands.

The groundbreaking ceremony took place at Hardware Park Phase-III in Shamshabad. Besides company representatives, senior officials also attended the programme.

The state government has been promoting investments in aerospace and high-technology manufacturing sectors in and around Hyderabad. As a result, the new facility adds to the industrial expansion taking place in the Hardware Park corridor.
