Cyberabad CP reviews IIIT Junction–DLF corridor road works

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr M. Ramesh inspected ongoing development works on the IIIT Junction DLF corridor in Gachibowli and reviewed measures to ensure smooth traffic movement during construction.

The Commissioner visited the IIIT Junction area and assessed the progress of road widening and flyover construction along the DLF Junction corridor.

Dr Ramesh, along with Serilingampally ACP Hanumantha Rao and CMC officials, inspected the construction site and reviewed the status of the project.

He directed officials to complete the works within the stipulated timeframe.

Further, the Commissioner discussed measures to minimise inconvenience to commuters during the construction period.

Officials also reviewed traffic management plans and alternative routes for motorists.

Meanwhile, Dr Ramesh instructed officials to implement a special traffic advisory for the next three months.

He also asked officials to introduce traffic diversions at key locations to regulate vehicle movement.

The Commissioner urged motorists to follow traffic police instructions and use alternative routes wherever necessary.

According to officials, the road development and flyover project will significantly ease congestion on the Gachibowli–DLF stretch after completion.

The project will also improve travel time and provide better transportation facilities for commuters.
