Bhatti Vikramarka said the Congress government had a record of purchasing even rain-soaked paddy at the minimum support price.
He questioned why the Centre was not purchasing the paddy procured by the state government.
Further, he urged the Centre to procure maize collected from farmers in Telangana.
The Deputy Chief Minister said the state was paying Rs 14,000 crore to power distribution companies towards free electricity for 30 lakh agricultural pump sets.
Additionally, the government was spending Rs 5,000 crore to provide 200 units of free electricity to 53 lakh families.
He said the government was taking steps to ensure quality power supply to consumers across the state.
Meanwhile, Bhatti Vikramarka said the government was implementing its election promises in a phased manner.
He alleged that the previous government had neglected the Devadula project.
However, he said the project works were progressing rapidly after the present government sanctioned funds.
He added that the government would complete the project at the earliest.
The Deputy Chief Minister also said the government had waived farm loans worth Rs 22,000 crore for eligible farmers.
