Bhatti Vikramarka launches Rs 60.62 crore power infrastructure projects in Jangaon

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka launched and laid foundation stones for power infrastructure projects worth Rs 60.62 crore in Station Ghanpur constituency of Jangaon district on Tuesday.

Station Ghanpur MLA Kadiyam Srihari presided over the programme held at Pallagutta village in Chilpur mandal.

Warangal MP Kadiyam Kavya, legislators, public representatives and district officials attended the event.

Power infrastructure projects to benefit over 60,000 consumers

Local representatives and officials welcomed the Deputy Chief Minister with traditional honours.

The Telangana Northern Power Distribution Company undertook the projects at a cost of Rs 60.62 crore.

According to officials, the works will directly benefit 60,838 consumers.

Bhatti Vikramarka inaugurated a 132/33 KV substation built at Peechara village in Velair mandal at a cost of Rs 43.92 crore.

He also inaugurated 33/11 KV substations at Kondapur, Sagaram and Kurchapalli villages.

Further, he laid foundation stones for three new 33/11 KV substations at Pallagutta, Lingampalli and Nashkal villages.

Authorities will construct these substations at an estimated cost of Rs 9.66 crore.

Additionally, officials said the facilities will improve electricity supply for farmers, households and small industries.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Chief Minister inaugurated a Rythu Seva Kendra stall allotted to self-help group women under the Indira Mahila Shakti scheme.

He later lit the ceremonial lamp and formally opened the public meeting.

Officials from various departments, local leaders and a large number of residents participated in the programme.

Therefore, the projects are expected to strengthen electricity infrastructure across the constituency and improve service reliability for consumers.
