Several residents pointed to problems in underground drainage works and uneven sewer lines. They reported drainage leakages and requested new sewer lines in Mahalaxmi Colony.
Additionally, citizens raised concerns about potholes in Maisammaguda and insufficient street lighting. They also discussed a proposal to establish a sewage treatment plant at Malla Reddy Institutions to prevent pollution of Lingayya Cheruvu.
Traffic congestion on the Doolapally–Shapur Road emerged as another major issue. Residents sought road widening and solutions to the stray dog nuisance.
They also requested protection and development of park land in Mahalaxmi Colony. Further, they asked for construction of a room and borewell facilities at the SC graveyard.
The Commissioner directed officials to address all issues on priority. She instructed the Deputy Commissioner and departments to ensure coordination and complete works within timelines.
The visit focused on direct engagement with citizens and field-level verification of problems. It aimed to identify practical solutions and improve civic services across wards.
Officials encouraged residents to participate in future visits and share feedback to strengthen local governance.
