Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) decentralises advertisement processes by simplifying the procedure for getting advertisement and name board permissions. Now, approvals are shifted to the circle level. This move is expected to speed up services and make them more accessible to local business owners. It illustrates how GHMC decentralises advertisement management effectively.
Local offices to handle permissions
Previously, the GHMC head office handled all signboard and advertisement approvals. Now, business owners can visit the deputy commissioner of their local GHMC circle for these permissions. By doing this, GHMC decentralises advertisement responsibilities, aiming to cut down wait times and improve convenience.
Online submission still required
GHMC made it clear that while approvals are now local, all applications must still be submitted online. Use its portal: https://advt.ghmc.gov.in.
The Corporation urged traders and residents to use the website for faster and smoother service. Officials said the shift shows GHMC’s ongoing effort to improve transparency and speed. This is part of delivering civic services as GHMC decentralises advertisement processes to meet modern demands.
