Hyderabad: IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu said the UDF Kerala victory reaffirmed public trust in democratic values, describing the Congress-led alliance’s win as a decisive message in Indian politics.

Reacting to the results of the five-state elections announced on Monday, Sridhar Babu said the Congress party has consistently upheld constitutional principles, whether in power or in opposition. He stated that the UDF Kerala victory reaffirmed that long-standing commitment.
He said the emphatic mandate in Kerala reflected people’s deep faith in democratic ideals. According to him, the outcome represented the triumph of reason over divisive politics.
“These results once again demonstrate that people prioritise development, unity, and secular values over politics of division,” he said.
He added that voters in Kerala chose progress and harmony over hatred. Therefore, he said, the state has set an example for the rest of the country.
UDF Kerala victory strengthens Congress outlook
Sridhar Babu said the resilience shown by Congress cadres across Kerala and other states played a key role in the result. He described their efforts as commendable and acknowledged their dedication during the campaign.
“We express our sincere gratitude to every party worker who toiled tirelessly for this victory, and to every voter who placed their trust in us,” he said.
He further stated that the Congress ideology has always focused on unity and public welfare. According to him, the mandate validated the party’s commitment to inclusive politics.
Referring to leadership, he said that under Rahul Gandhi, the path of “love and social justice” has gained renewed endorsement through the Kerala result. He added that the party would continue on the same course.
Looking ahead, Sridhar Babu expressed confidence that under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the Congress would secure a second term in Telangana. He said all election promises would be implemented in phases.
He also projected that the Congress-led alliance is poised for a decisive victory in the 2029 Lok Sabha elections and aims to form the government at the Centre.
