Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao reviewed industrial growth during visits to manufacturing units at the Electronic Manufacturing Cluster (eCity), Industrial Park, Mankhal and General Park, Maheshwaram. The inspection focused on investments, manufacturing capacity, infrastructure and employment generation across key industrial projects.
The Chief Secretary was accompanied by the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC), the Secretary to Government, the Executive Director of TGIIC and other senior officials.
The delegation first visited Premier Energies Photovoltaic Private Limited at eCity. The company established a solar PV modules manufacturing facility on 25 acres. It invested ₹1,240 crore and provides employment to around 1,200 people.
Later, the Chief Secretary inspected Avantel Limited at eCity. The company manufactures defence electronics, satellite payload systems and ground station infrastructure. It invested ₹59.22 crore and generated employment for 400 people.
Industrial growth review covers major manufacturing units
The delegation then visited Chiripal Poly Films Limited at Industrial Park, Mankhal. The company completed its original and expansion projects. It now operates its BOPP and BOPET film manufacturing facility with an investment of ₹284.02 crore and employment for 500 people.
Meanwhile, the Chief Secretary inspected Wipro Enterprises Private Limited at General Park, Maheshwaram. The company completed its original and expansion projects. It operates its manufacturing facility with an investment of ₹174.34 crore and employment for 331 people.
In addition, the delegation visited Malabar Gems and Jewellery Manufacturing Private Limited. The company established its manufacturing unit over 3.7 acres. It invested ₹374.05 crore and generated employment for 2,782 people after completing both project phases.
Finally, the Chief Secretary reviewed the progress of industrial growth with industry representatives and officials. He appreciated the contribution of these industries to manufacturing, investment and employment. He also reaffirmed the State Government’s commitment to world-class industrial infrastructure and an investor-friendly ecosystem.
